iTENTE project funded by Plan GenT
Our project, iTENTE, proudly embodies a key achievement of the visionary «Programa para el apoyo a personas investigadoras con talento» (Plan GenT), initiated in 2017 by the Consell of the Generalitat Valenciana. This strategic program is dedicated to attracting and nurturing talent within the Valencian community’s research, development, and innovation sector. With a focus on excellence, knowledge, and technological advancement, Plan GenT aspires to elevate the region’s R+D+i system, enhance its international research profile, secure European funding, and retain promising young researchers with the potential to impact the global stage.
As a prominent endeavor financed by Plan GenT, iTENTE aims to position Valencia as a leader in 6G research, focusing on terrestrial, non-terrestrial networks, and UAV communications. This project, hosted at the Institute for Telecommunications and Media Applications (iTEAM) of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), embarks on an ambitious journey to explore the complexities of integrated terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks.
